Civil Engineer (Buildings & Structures)

      Electrical Engineer (Senior)

      Primary Responsabilities

      • Preparation of basic engineering electrical documents (HV, MV, LV single line diagrams, electrical protection) for industrial plants (Power, Oil & Gas, Chemical)
      • Perform calculation for load flow, short circuit, motor starting studies with specialized software (e.g. ETAP) and equipment sizing (e.g. transformers, switchgears)
      • Preparation of technical specification for electrical equipment (HV systems, MV and LV electrical panels, transformers, DC and AC system, UPS system, other electrical components etc.)
      • Participation in any HAZOP (Hazard & Operability Analysis) and/or SIL (Safety Instrument Loop) sessions
      • Proposal Support: analyzing and commenting Client’s specifications and requirements; estimating engineering deliverables both in terms of hours and resources (engineers, draftsmen, etc.)
      • Supplier Management: coordination with Suppliers for project documentation deliveries during proposals and managing responses in a timely fashion; technical evaluation of Supplier’s offers; supervision and coordination of Suppliers’ detail engineering; review of Suppliers’ documents; management of communications with Suppliers
      • Technical Support: coordination of electrical activities with other disciplines involved for multidisciplinary projects, both internally and with Suppliers; participation in Client & Stakeholder meetings

        Required Skills

        • Knowledge of international electrical engineering standards for Oil & Gas and Power plants
        • Knowledge of Electrical Hazardous area (ATEX)
        • Familiarity with typical schematic and functional diagrams for MV and LV (MCC) panels

          PDMS / AVEVA System Administrator

          Primary Responsabilities

          • General Aveva PDMS/E3D administration, including:
            • Creation and administration of PDMS/E3D projects (Global & non-Global)
            • Set up of databases, Draft environments, MDBs and users
            • Setup and administration of client-specific PDMS/E3D tools
          • Developing and managing piping, structural and Pipe Support database (Paragon & Specon)
          • Preparation and review of Navisworks models for both internal review and third-party and client use, including the development of custom automated extraction routines
          • Local customisation, troubleshooting and creation of PML utilities to suit project requirements
          • PDMS/E3D application testing, installation, implementation and add-on software integration, such as Aveva’s LFM (for Leica scans) and Laser Model Interface (LMI)

            Primary Responsabilities

            Acts in support of Sintecnica’s Business Unit, Expert Staffing, for engineering services and construction site activities. Responsible for the personnel search and selection process, including:

            • Automatically carry out personnel research activities (Italian and foreign) based on the requirements provided: Job Description, location, duration of activity, remuneration.
            • Create and maintain a database of potential candidates (i.e. “contacts”)
            • Use the tools and channels agreed with the BU Manager to publish research announcements and to develop relationships with potential candidates
            • Carry out interviews with candidates (in person or via telephone/video conference)
            • Formulate and deliver contractual and economic proposals for the candidates
            • Control bidding costs and budgets
            • Send CVs to clients
            • Organize and participate in Qualification Meetings between client and candidate
